| The
highway bar is from an 07 HD Touring model. The HD fairing lowers were display units, but
were the newer style with the larger air louvers that lets more air through when needed. |
I
made small brackets to kickthe lower ends of highway bar out a little, so no
trimming of lower fairings were needed. |

the bottom of highway bar you can see the quick detachable hardware. |
I
mounted highway bar to upper gusset where my Lindby bar was mounted. |

horn was no problem for lower fairing installation. |
Lower
fairing just barely touches brake line for rear master cylinder. |

| I
kept the lower chrome brackets from my Lindby Bar, and made a small bracket to connect
that bracket to the lower mounting tab on the HD Highway bar. Now I am going to have to
make another set of the small brackets to send off to be chromed, or powder coat these
locally. |
This
is the top mounting tab on the HD Highway bar. I just used the hole in the down tubes
brace plate, that I had drilled for my Lindby Highway bars. It was a perfect fit. I did
remove the nut that was attached to the top HD Mounting tab. Probably would not have had
to, but I thought it would be easier to run the bolt from outside and the nut inside. |
